10 years. I can hardly believe I’m writing those words!
On 7th August 2026, I celebrated 10 years of Jodie Wilson TCM – 10 years of learning, growing, meeting amazing people and, most importantly, doing a job that I genuinely love.
When I first started my business, I don’t think I could have imagined what it would become.
What began as a small dream has grown into a business that has become such a huge part of my life. Over the past decade, I’ve had the privilege of welcoming hundreds of clients through my doors, listening to their stories, supporting them through different stages of their lives and watching them return time and time again. And I honestly feel incredibly lucky.
Looking back
Over the last 10 years, my business has changed and evolved so much.
I’ve continued to learn, train and develop my treatments, adding new therapies and techniques along the way. From acupuncture and cupping to kore therapy, facial acupuncture, gua sha, reiki and massage treatments, I’ve loved being able to offer my clients a range of treatments tailored to them.
My prices have changed, my treatment room has changed and my business has grown – but one thing has stayed exactly the same:
I care about every single person who walks through my door.
I still get that lovely feeling when someone tells me they’ve slept better, feel more relaxed, their pain has eased, or they’ve simply enjoyed having an hour to themselves. Those moments are what make this job so special.
More than just a treatment
One of the things I’ve realised over the years is that my business isn’t just about the treatments themselves.
It’s about the conversations.
It’s about the friendships and connections I’ve made.
It’s about seeing familiar faces regularly and knowing what’s happening in someone’s life.
It’s about celebrating the good times with clients and being there during the difficult ones too.
Some clients have been with me for years. Some have been coming since the very beginning. Others have only recently discovered my little treatment room.
Every single one has played a part in getting me to this milestone.

Small businesses really do rely on the support of their clients, and I never take that for granted.
There have been plenty of moments over the last 10 years where I’ve wondered whether I was doing the right thing, whether I could make it work or whether I was brave enough to keep pushing myself.
But looking back now, I’m so glad I did.
I’m proud of the business I’ve built, proud of how much I’ve learnt and incredibly grateful for the people who have helped me along the way.
Here’s to the next chapter
Ten years feels like a huge milestone, but I don’t feel like I’m finished growing.
I still have ideas, treatments I’d love to develop, things I’d like to learn and plenty of plans for the future.
So, here’s to 10 years of Jodie Wilson TCM – and to whatever the next 10 years might bring.
