Trypanophobia. Most people have never heard of it? I hadn’t either until doing my Acupuncture course for the first time. It doesn’t quite steal the headlines like other phobias. Arachnophobia (the fear of spiders) had an entire film made about it. Agoraphobia (the fear of open or crowded spaces) and Claustrophobia (the fear of small spaces) both also seem to take a lot of limelight too. I have recently developed a designated treatment room at my home in Hinckley, Leicestershire. Well, when I say 'I', I actually mean with the help of my Dad and husband... The three of us have spent the last six weeks designing, planning and building a lovely new treatment room, which we are all extremely proud of, and I hope you will be too. Hello and welcome to my first blog post. I wanted to take the time to introduce myself and tell how you how I first became qualified in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine). So by way of an introduction... my name is Jodie Wilson and I specialise in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Complementary Therapy. I am qualified in Acupuncture (Clinical and Cosmetic), Aromatherapy, Chinese Cupping, Gua Sha (Facial) and Kore Therapy.
